World of Warcraft Midnight is revealed at Gamescom 2025

For the weeks leading up to Gamescom 2025, Blizzard were saying they would reveal Midnight, the next chapter in the Soul Saga series for World of Warcraft and boy did they. Check out the incredible reveal cinematic, if you have not seen it yet.
The Cinematic is not all that they showed as they also revealed the gameplay enhancements coming with the expansion, you can watch that below.
This is not just new ways of playing, but rather there is a whole lot of new locations to discover, new dungeons to undertake, a new Allied Race and much more.
First up is the new hub, Silvermnoon City, this has been rebuilt and includes new areas like the Sanctum of Light and Memorial Garden, and areas that remain accessible by Horde players only.
There are a host of new zones for players to discover as well, they are:
Eversong Woods: Lands that have healed in the years following the Scourge invasion now facing new threats in the mysterious lightbloom as well cultists serving the Void.
Zul’Aman: Explore beyond the confines of the original raid space to discover what lies in the surrounding forests and aid the Zul’Amani Trolls as they work to reconnect with their lost Loa.
Harandar: Return to the depths of the world to behold the convergence of the roots of Azeroth’s world trees in this primordial, fungal jungle.
The Voidstorm: the chaotic beauty is both wondrous and deadly as the forces of the Void break through from this land to invade Azeroth.
The new expansion will also come with a new race, the Haranir. This group aligns to the Allied side of things and are a group of Ancient hunters, that call a hidden land with glowing bioluminescent features home. If this seems familiar to you, players first met in The War Within as they worked alongside Orweyna who sought to discover what was happening on the surface that was impacting the home of her people.
Within the race, players will have a choice of class types, the supported ones are Warrior, Hunter, Rogue, Priest, Shaman, Mage, Warlock, Monk and Druid.
For many players World of Warcraft feels home and now it will be even truer, as the game is getting homes in the expansion. Yes, after more than 20 years of traversing Azeroth, players will be able to set down some roots and build themselves a home.
This robust evergreen system puts player creativity at the forefront with a potential for thousands of décor items that can be used to build the home players have dreamt of in Azeroth (much of which will be earned through natural gameplay).
Finally, we come to the ways of getting the expansion, which this is a Blizzard release, so there are a few. You will find the details below, but you can order them here.
