The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales gets a release date

Square Enix have announced the release date for their upcoming HD-2D RPG, The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales. The game will arrive for all its platforms this June 18. Check out the newest trailer for the game below.
In The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales, the pair Elliot and Faie journey across a sprawling world spanning four distinct ages, facing swarms of foes, hidden caverns and ancient ruins. Elliot masters seven weapon classes—from close-range swords to flexible chains and sickles that can pull enemies closer—each upgradeable with Magicite so players can shape his fighting style. Faie’s potent magic is effective both in combat and exploration, used to strike foes, fetch out-of-reach items and assist in traversal.
Pre-orders are open for the game on most digital platforms, Switch 2 is the odd one out here, but anyone who does pre-order the game will get the item called Elliot’s Departure Pack. This pack includes various items that give Elliot an edge, including a Departure Brooch accessory, which increases the amount of currency and magicite fragments enemies drop, and Attack Up sword Magicite.
That bonus is also for folks who pre-order the physical edition as well, with retailers set to open those up over the next few days. There is a special edition of the game, which you can see below and that is exclusive to the Square Enix Store. The store does not ship outside of North America, the European is the same for that region as well. The set will cost you about $330 AUD for it, before any shipping, so just be aware of that if you want to pick one up.
The game will release on June 18 for Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
