Get some friends together and fight back against the machines in Horizon Hunters Gathering
PlayStation Studios and Guerrilla Games have announced a brand new game set within the world of Horizon, but this is no single player epic, instead you and your mates will come together to fight back against the machines in Horizon Hunters Gathering. The game is in development for PlayStation 5 and PC, with the game opening up beta testing, so when they have them open those who have registered might be invited to take part. If you want to help out the developers, you can sign up here.
In Horizon Hunters Gathering, pick from Hunters with unique melee or ranged weapons and playstyles. Choose roles with rogue-lite perks to build the loadout that fits you and your team. Each Hunter has personal motives and struggles, creating new stories in Horizon. The game includes a narrative campaign with new mysteries, characters, and threats, kept secret for now. Horizon Hunters Gathering is fully canon and its story continues after launch.
Hunting dangerous machines takes you through varied environments that shape missions and stories. Each area has its own mood, challenges, and chances for your team to learn and master. Between missions, you return to Hunters Gathering, a lively hub where players meet, prepare, and celebrate. Customize Hunters, visit vendors, upgrade gear, and team up for the next adventure.
There is no date for when the game will release, but given how the last online focused game from PlayStation bombed… HARD, I can imagine they are going to take their time on this one, in order to get it right.
