Goodnight Universe lets you control the game with your face on Switch 2

A new update for Goodnight Universe has been released that adds camera control to the game, players can kinect with the game by plugging in any compatible USB camera to the Nintendo Switch 2.

As you can see via the below infographic there are a few steps, the biggest of which is that your camera must be around 45cm to 60cm away from your face. As you go through the setup, it will check placement and lighting and if you are good to go, the game will give you a smiling face and if not, players will be frowned upon, quite literally.

We reviewed the game last year on PlayStation 5 and while we loved it there, minus some control issues, this update means we should have done it on Nintendo Switch 2.
