Bluey’s Quest for The Gold Pen arrives on consoles and PC this May

PM Studios and developers Halfbrick Studios and Radical Forge, have announced that Bluey’s Quest for The Gold Pen will arrive onto PC and consoles on May 28th. As part of the news, a new console based trailer has been released, check it out below.

In this new game, players will take control of Bluey, who was drawing when Dad suddenly snatched the Gold Pen she needs to complete her story. A new world is brought to life as Bluey and her family gather around the kitchen table to draw together. Mum designs the strange and distant lands, Dad rocks up on his cool bike as self-declared King Goldie Horns, and Bingo transforms into her honk-happy alter ego, Bingoose, a plucky adventurer who even lays golden eggs. Bluey and Bingoose embark on an exciting quest to retrieve The Gold Pen from King Goldie Horns, with heaps of fun along the way.

The game features the original voice actors from the animated show, hand-drawn environments inspired by the ‘Dragon’ and ‘Escape’ episodes of the beloved TV series, and a new soundtrack composed and produced in-house by Halfbrick in close collaboration with Ludo Studio. Even better, the game features fully animated cutscenes and characters woven into an all-new story written by Bluey creator Joe Brumm.

Bluey holds a special place in the hearts of families around the world, and it’s been an honour for our team to work with such a cherished brand. Everyone involved has brought genuine passion and respect for the series to this game, and it perfectly reflects what PM Studios loves to do - deliver warm, memorable adventures to PC and consoles that families can come back to again and again, whether they’re playing digitally or enjoying it as part of their game collection.
