Echoes of Aincrad has been announced and is out this July
Bandai Namco have announced Echoes of Aincrad, a brand new RPG that is set in the floating castle of Aincrad, from the Sword Art Online universe. The game will release on July 10 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Check out the reveal trailer for the game below.
In this game, players will get the chance to create their own character and dive into the world, facing all the challenges that are thrown at them. As players progress through quests and missions, they can customize and upgrade equipment, weapons, and attributes, and choose special skills to fit their preferred playstyle, growing stronger as they level up.
They won’t travel alone: real-time combat also depends on the partner selected for each outing, including whether that partner adopts an aggressive or supportive stance. As the bond with a partner deepens, players unlock powerful partner abilities. Adventurers will traverse varied cities and striking environments—from peaceful plains to treacherous, secret-filled dungeons—facing monsters and bosses that continually challenge their skill and resolve.
