Tales of Xillia Remastered has been announced and is out this October

Bandai Namco have announced that Tales of Xillia is getting another shot in the spotlight as it is being Remastered and set to release this October. Check out the announcement trailer for the game below.
The original game released as a PlayStation 3 exclusive back in 2013, 2011 for those in Japan, but this time the game will come to Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox Series X|S and of course, PlayStation 5.
Bandai Namco have not released a heap of information on what exactly has changed in this new release, outside of the usual enhanced graphics and quality of life stuff, like have Auto-saves. They have said though, that players will have earlier access to the Grade Shop, giving players a leg up in their journey. A nice bonus for this release is it will also include all the DLC that released for the game originally.

This remaster will bring enhanced graphics and numerous quality of life improvements, such as auto-save and early access to the Grade Shop, that will ease the journey of new players in this classic JRPG title, and delight fans who saw the first release 12 years ago in Europe. Tales of Xillia Remastered also includes downloadable content from the original release, featuring character costumes, bonus items, and other fan-favorite extras.
But the balance of the world is soon threatened when Jude Mathis, a young medical student meets Milla Maxwell, the Lord of Spirits, in an unfortunate series of event that leads them to discover a dangerous secret weapon in the hands of the kingdom of Rashugal. Now both fugitives, the pragmatic Jude and the spiritual Milla, will have to put their differences aside to make the world believe in peaceful coexistence between their respective nations as war looms. Two opposing worlds face each other, one governed by spiritual powers and the other driven by scientific progress, that only our heroes’ unwavering convictions can bring together.
The game will release on October 31st for PlayStation 5, PC, Switch and Xbox Series X|S.
