Assassin's Creed Unity now runs at 60fps on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S

Ubisoft only just announced that Assassin’s Creed Unity was going to get a 60fps update and they have delivered today, with the update now live on both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

With this new update, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S players will be able to either re-experience or experience the French Revolution for the first time at 60fps. It is not just a higher frame rate as the game now runs in native 4K, which if you remember the original release, makes it quite the significant update across the board.

Players will take control of Arno Dorian, a young Assassin on a mission to eliminate oppressors in Paris, from Templars to corrupt nobles to common street criminals and with the new update soaring across Parisian rooftops has never been so smooth on consoles thanks to the framerate boost.
