Resident Evil: Requiem scores a new trailer via Gamescom

After being revealed just a few months ago, Capcom were apart Gamescom Opening Night Live to reveal another look at Resident Evil 9, or Resident Evil Requiem, check out the new trailer below.
The new game is set 30 years after the outbreak in Raccoon City, Resident Evil Requiem follows Grace on a new case where the young FBI analyst must return to the scene and face her tragic memories.
If you were thinking that one new look was all you were getting this week, Capcom also popped up in the Future Games Show for Gamescom 2025 and had a producer message, which among other things shows off the games first person and third person views. The interesting thing is that you can swap at anytime, so no menu needed for that and if you play in first person, things will look sharper than the third person perspective. However, if you play in the 3rd person, you will see Grace stumble and fall when scared, something unlikely to happen in the other viewpoint.
Check out the video below to see the differences in them.
The game is set to release this February 27 for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
