Resident Evil Requiem begins an outbreak onto Nintendo Switch 2

Capcom were in the recent Nintendo Direct with a few games, one of the ones many hoped to see was Resident Evil Requiem and they were not disappointed. The game was revealed with a new trailer and confirmed to be launching on the same day as the others, February 27, check it out.

Set approximately 30 years after the outbreak in Raccoon City, Resident Evil Requiem follows Grace on a new case where the young FBI analyst must escape from the horrors surrounding her and face the tragic memories surrounding the death of her mother, Alyssa Ashcroft.

The game will release on February 27th on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

Capcom released the trailer twice, the Switch 2 version above, and the other platforms here. This means we get our first look at a brand new game, launching day and date on Switch 2 and other platforms, well that we have a lead time on. The stills are taking from the same place in both trailers and the Switch 2 is on the left, the PC on the right, they look quite similar, which is nice to see.

But Capcom were not done, while we did not get a lot of video of them, both Resident Evil Biohazard and Resident Evil Village are coming, well coming properly. Those games were playable on the Nintendo Switch, but they were cloud only, which nobody liked. These games are launching onto Nintendo Switch 2 on the same day as Requiem, so February 27th for three massive Resident Evil games.
