Resident Evil Requiem adds Leon to the game

Capcom have announced that Resident Evil Requiem will also include Leon S. Kennedy, giving players a chance to experience two stories for the game, one as Ashley which is more survival horror and one as Leon, for those who want to kick ass. Check out the new trailer for the game below.
There is not a lot known about why Leon is back in Raccoon City, but we have this little bio about his character.
One of the survivors of the Raccoon City Incident. With a strong sense of justice and physical capabilities to match, he has responded to numerous outbreaks since that fateful day. Now, as a seasoned DSO agent combatting bioterrorism, he has returned to investigate the latest string of deaths in the Midwest.
We also have the fun visual below of a Leon who is old and more world weary.
The game will let players experience the game in two ways, for those seeking a traditional survival horror moment, you can do that with Grace. For those who want more roundhouse kicks, that is when you select Leon. The idea of playing as two different characters as the story is told from two unique points of view is very Resident Evil 2 and not something the series really embraced post then.
The game is set to release on February 27 for Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. If you are looking to pick up a copy of the game yourself, be sure to check out our Bargain Guide for the best price.
