Monster Hunter Wilds has confirmed its Title 2 Update
Taking up the bulk of the recent Capcom Spotlight Showcase was the reveal of the Title 2 update for Monster Hunter Wilds, which launches this June 30. Check out the trailer to see what is included.
There are two new monsters coming in the update, Lagaicrus and Seregios. The former was the key monster in Monster Hunter Tri, the Wii game that added underwater encounters to the series. For the latter, Seregios is a flying monster that was introduced in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, here are some details on each of them.
Lagiacrus
Lagiacrus, the leviathan feared as the top of the aquatic food chain, has risen from the depths! Gear up for an electrifying battle.
Unlock Conditions
At Hunter Rank 31 or above, complete the main mission "A World Turned Upside Down" and the side mission "Forest Doshaguma" to unlock an extra mission featuring Lagiacrus.
Seregios
Seregios, known for the sharp, blade-like scales covering their bodies, are descending into the wilds! A tempest of swirling talons and razor-sharp scales that cut through the air inflicts its victims with Bleeding.
Unlock Conditions
At Hunter Rank 31 or above, complete the main mission "A World Turned Upside Down" to unlock an extra mission featuring Seregios.
There is a third monster coming in the update, but Uth Duna has been around before. This new quest for them will be live only until July 30, but those who conquer can get some spiffy new threads.
So, what else is added, turns out quite a bit.
Layered Weapons
Craft the final weapon in a tree to use it as layered equipment and create the look you want no matter which weapon you use!
Forge high-rank Palico weapons to unlock them as layered equipment for your Felyne friend.
Notes:
For weapons that change appearance when upgraded, the pre-upgraded versions will also be available.
Layered Artian weapons can be obtained by fully reinforcing the Rarity 8 weapon.
Photo Mode Enhancements
New features have been added to Photo Mode to help you snap the perfect shot.
Adjust brightness and apply filters in the Effects tab, and hide your handler, Palico, Seikret, and more in the Character Display tab.
Gesture Set
Move to the groove with four free dance gestures.

Add fresh visual flair to your hunting adventure with Cosmetic DLC Pack 2, a bundle of stylish content available June 30, 2025!
