Nintendo Classics: Mario Smash Football kicks to release next week

Nintendo have announced that Mario Smash Football is the first GameCube game being added to Nintendo Classics since the console was added alongside the Switch 2 release. For some reason though, they keep using Super Mario Strikers in the trailer, speaking of, check it out.

The game launched here in Australia as Mario Smash Football in April 2006, making this the youngest game added to the Nintendo Classics line up. It was also one of the last games produced for the GameCube, so it being an early addition here is quite funny.

The game will be available on July 3rd for Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack Members, if they have a Nintendo Switch 2 console.
