Lorcana reveals details for its next chapter, Winterspell
Ravensburger have released the first details for Winterspell, the next chapter for Lorcana, which arrives this February. As you might have guessed from the name and the art above, snow and ice is going to play a big part of the chapter, which makes sense to see Stitch? Wait, what?
A frozen blast cast by an Elsa glimmer goes awry creating a flurry of snow and ice unlike anything the realm has seen before, including new friends such as Pocahontas, Angel from Lilo and Stitch: The Series, and Darkwing Duck.
“Wintertime is such a reminiscent theme of year for so many of us. Lots of people have fond memories of snowball fights, spending time with loved ones, or sipping hot cocoa, and we wanted to bring that feeling of cozy, winter fun to Winterspell. With these gorgeous cards, Illumineers will get the chance to experience flurries of fun around the table with friends and family - no snow required!”
You can see some of the new cards below, which also include a look at the Iconic card featuring Lilo and Stitch. In addition, Enchanted cards in Winterspell follow a similar motif with a Frost foil effect over the cards, allowing collectors to share the fun of playing with these gorgeous, unique cards.

In addition to new cards, players will also get the chance to pick up one of the four new play mats, or all four if they want.
Of course, if you just want to pick up the cards you can do so via the Illumineer’s Trove or any of the booster packs, you can see what they look like below.
The new chapter will arrive this February 13 for specialist game stores and then February 20 for all other stores. But there is still more to come as a new adventure is on the horizon for Disney Lorcana! Glimmers from Pixar films like Toy Story, The Incredibles, and Brave will traverse the Wilds Unknown in the autumn months, with more details expected in April.
The adventure won’t stop there as this Winter will see the release of Attack of the Vine! The new chapter will reveal a colossal threat that will tower over the realm, but don’t be too scared when glimmers such as Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan, aka Sully, from Disney and Pixar’s Monsters Inc. show up.
