Horizon Steel Frontiers is bringing the series to the MMO genre

PlayStation and NCSoft have officially announced Horizon Steel Frontiers, a brand new MMORPG coming to PC and mobile devices. This game was rumoured as happen back in 2023, so it took a while to be announced. Check out the reveal video below, with statements from the developers.

It is not just the video above, as they have also released a gameplay trailer, which honestly looks quite good, though we shall have to see the game more to be sure.

There is no release date information for the game at this time, but we could see it doing an alpha or beta in 2026 and then a full release in 2027. The game is meant to be free, so likely will be filled with microtransactions for a lot of basic things as well, which we will need confirmed.

When the game does release, it will do so on PC and Mobile, complete with cross-play.
