Borderlands 4: Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned arrives this March
2K and Gearbox have announced that Borderlands 4 is getting a lot of content starting later this month, well not on Nintendo Switch 2, but for the others it will. First up is the second bounty pack, Legend of the Stone Demo.
Full details about what is coming in Bounty Pack 2 are not yet known, but what we do know is that Bounty Pack 2 will launch alongside a Major Update that adds Pearlescent gear to Borderlands 4—a new rarity tier with power levels superior to even Legendary gear. This new rarity will be available to everyone no matter which edition of Borderlands 4 you own.
Don’t worry though, if you do buy Bounty Pack 2, or get it as part of the fancy editions of the game, there are some exclusive Pearlescent gear that are only going to be available there. Bounty Pack 2 is the second, funny that, of 5 planned Bounty Packs, so there is more to look forward too.

The first of two story packs for the game, Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned will arrive in March, an exact date is not yet known. The full details on what it will include are also not yet known, but we do know that it will include C4SH. Here are all the details we know for this story pack:

The only image they have released is below and is just a still from the teaser, but I am sure there is a secret or two hidden within there.
Last week saw Borderlands 4 get another update, specifically focused on the Photo mode, you can read all about that here. We also have a good idea of the roadmap for the game, which gives us a good look for 2026. As you can see below, there are a number of updates, coming, some paid and some free, which should keep you on Kairos for the year, if not longer.
