The Crew Motorfest is keeping the engine revving for a third year of content

Overnight a new The Crew Showcase took place and in the 2025 edition there was a lot of information revealed, including that The Crew 2 now has an offline mode. To get all the details and just those, check out the Deep Dive trailer for Year of The Crew Motorfest below.

Year 3 of the game will begin on November 5 with season 8 and will feature a lot of updates around customisation. Season 8 will bring customisation and new rides, along with new playlists and more, including a special collaboration with BMW.

The first Playlist, Street Riders, reintroduces an old acquaintance: Weasel, first seen in the Donk vs Lowrider Playlist. Away from the official Motorfest stage, you'll step into an offbeat underground scene where the streets set the rules. Monkey's Kitchen also introduces two new gameplay twists:

  • Monkey's Bet: before each race, players can choose whether to accept challenges from the collective, raise the stakes to earn greater rewards and prove themselves as true masters of the streets.

  • Free Race: no GPS, no path, just reach the flares as quickly and efficiently as possible until the finish line

On January 7, 2026, a second Playlist will launch in partnership with BMW, diving deep into the brand's legacy and its lasting impact on both automotive history and street culture. Guided by Marc Thiesbürger from BMW Group Classic, players will discover iconic models and stories that have shaped BMW's reputation across generations.

And of course, no season would be complete without new rides. Season 8 will bring a lineup of fresh vehicles to expand your collection, including the all-new BMW M2 CS available exclusively in The Crew Motorfest in January

Season 8 also introduces a wealth of new features and improvements. Vehicle customization takes a major step forward with the long-requested ability to adjust stance, letting you fine-tune ride height and wheel alignment for a personalized look. In addition, licensed rims make their debut, with more customization options than ever, including new colours and material finishes. Competitive players will be able to climb the ranks thanks to a brand-new Ranked Mode in Grand Race, complete with unique rewards and progression tracking. Social play also gets an upgrade with the new "Looking for a Crew" feature, which makes it easier to team up with players interested in the same types of activities, from competition to exploration.

But if you thought that was big just wait for Season 9.

Season 9 will arrive in March 2026 and be the biggest update to the game yet, not only because it adds NASCAR to the game, along with cars and a playlist, but it will also let players create their own tracks and if that was not enough, a brand new island is coming.

To capture the unique atmosphere of NASCAR, the teams have gone beyond adding cars: we're reworking both the vehicle physics and the 3Cs (camera, controls, character) to deliver an experience that feels true to the sport, while staying faithful to the Motorfest spirit.

Season 9 will also push the boundaries of creativity with the introduction of TrackForge, a brand-new UGC tool that allows players to create, share, and race on their dream tracks. Designed to be the most powerful creation tool we've ever built, TrackForge will give the community the freedom to imagine everything from authentic circuits to the wildest, most unexpected layouts. To showcase its potential, TrackForge will come to life on an entirely new island, created from the ground up to host custom tracks.

And that's not all, a second new island will also be available right at the start of the season. This environment blends the serious, competitive spirit of NASCAR with more playfuldesigns, including a full NASCAR stadium and over-the-top track layouts, mirroring the kind of creations players will soon be able to build themselves with TrackForge.

But wait there is still more, because midway through the season, the game will introduce a brand-new vehicle category: RC Cars. Roughly one-third the size of traditional vehicles, these small but mighty machines feature their own dedicated physics and handling model to fully showcase their unique capabilities. Alongside their own Playlist, RC Cars will unlock a completely fresh way to experience the open world of The Crew Motorfest.

But wait, there is still more as Season 10 was also talked about, well mentioned and the content for that season will remain a mystery for a while longer. While access to the Year 3 content is free, there is the Year 3 Pass which provides more vehicles across the year, two of which are exclusive to it.
