With the surprise release of Xenoblade Chronicles X onto Nintendo Switch 2, this game is the third release from Nintendo this year, to feature the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition.
However, unlike the recent Xenoblade game, this one is not a cheap upgrade as existing owners of the Nintendo Switch game, would need to spend $30 AUD to upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition.
For those who want to buy it all, the full release has a RRP of $109.95 and you can get $10-$20 off that price at a few places. If you own the base game already, you can buy the retail release, if you wanted to, or just buy the $30 upgrade on the eShop.
There are a trio of new amiibo coming as well, the RRP for all three is $29.95 and most places are shaving off that 95c so not really a lot of reason to go hunting for those.
