Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu drops the first teaser trailer
Lucasfilm have released the first teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu, the all-new movie that continues the adventures from the TV series. Check it out now.
For obvious reasons the story is being kept a secret, but we have this little blurb":
The evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy. As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin and his young apprentice Grogu.
The only thing that concerns me, well two things, first is that the poster looks like something that is fan-made, you can see it below and the second thing is that a new Razor Crest is in the movie. They made a comment in the first season that the Razor Crest was of a very old design and finding parts was hard, but somehow they just found an entire second ship, not to mention it undercuts the losing of the first one.
The movie stars Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin, along with Sigourney Weaver. The only other existing characters we know to be in the movie is Zeb, or Garazeb Orrelios if you want to be fancy, who is voiced by Steve Blum. The other is Babu Frik, the Anzellan who works on C-3PO in The Rise of Skywalker.
For us in Australia, the movie releases on May 21st, the day after on May 22nd at both Disneyland and Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World, the Millennium Falcon ride is getting updated, bringing in elements from the show.
