Sonic Origins is bringing the original games back, remastered for modern consoles
Sega have announced that Sonic is set to speed back onto consoles and PC this June 23rd, when Sonic Origins brings the original games back to gamers, completely remastered and packed with extras.
The collection includes the four original games, Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic CD, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, and Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Beyond that there are also all new animations, explore added features, modes, and more.
One nice new addition is that you will be able to choose between the Classic gameplay and the new Anniversary mode. Choose to Spin Dash your way through the numerous zones in Classic mode with the game's original resolution and limited lives, or the new Anniversary mode with unlimited lives and revamped fullscreen resolution.
The game is coming to Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on June 23rd
