Pokémon Pokopia will release this coming March
Nintendo have said that a new trailer for Pokémon Pokopia is on its way, but ahead of that the Nintendo eShop has been updated to reflect the games release date, which is March 5th, 2026. The only real thing to note about the games release, it will not be on a full card, but will be the first Game Key Card from Nintendo. This was confirmed via the below video.
This is perhaps the biggest slap in the face to anyone who decided to go physical with Switch 2. Game Key Cards are nothing new, there were a number of them on day one of the console, but Nintendo said that their games would always be released on full cards, until now. This means we won’t have lasted a year, heck not even a full 9 months before that promise was broken.
