NHL 26 is hitting the ice earlier than normal

Electronic Arts have announced EA Sports NHL 26, which is set to release this September, which is earlier than the normal October release that the series normally has. Check out the reveal trailer for the game below.
A full breakdown of gameplay details have not been released, but the team have said that there will be updates to Ice-Q, the games data driven system, along with updates to the Be A Pro mode and more.
The game will release in two options, the standard release and the Deluxe Edition. For those who pick up the standard, it will be available on September 12 and for those who pay extra, the Deluxe Edition will be available on September 5. In addition to paying for early access, you will also get the following:
