Lorcana is set to deal more adventures later this year

Disney and Ravensburger have revealed new details about new chapters coming to Lorcana, as well as card types that are being added to the game.
We have already known that it was coming, but Reign of Jafar is coming this June to stores that sell the game, with selected specialist stores getting it on May 30. Below is the setup for the new chapter:
Jafar now possesses the Hexwell Crown and, with it, he has corrupted Archazia’s Island to his wicked will. Traps and illusions abound in Reign of Jafar, and glimmers like Jasmine – Steady Strategist and Rapunzel
Some of the cards included in the new chapter can be seen below, but the news was about what comes after Jafar.
The 9th chapter is called Fabled and will release this September, with it comes a big overhaul to some of the cards, as well as introducing even more beloved characters to the game.
The first big addition with the new chapter are two new card rarities, Iconic and Epic. The new Epic cards are similar to the Legendary, except they drop the black border, giving players a chance to enjoy the art on the card. These cards will appear more than the Enchanted type, so fans might find get lucky. For those looking for the new Iconic cards, those are going to be rare, with only two appearing in each set, but the cards are going to be all over prints. You can see the examples of the new cards below, Epic on the left and Iconic on the right.
With the two new card types, this is the list of rarities for the cards:
Common
Uncommon
Rare
Super Rare
Legendary
Epic
Enchanted
Iconic
The new Fabled chapter will also mark the first time the game will rotate cards out of being legally available to competitive players to include in their decks. The first four sets will rotate out of the Core Constructed format, but will still be available to play in a new format, called Infinity Constructed. All fans can still play with their entire card collection, but it’s important to keep the competition fresh. This only impacts the original prints from the first four chapters, The First Chapter, Rise of the Floodborn, Into the Inklands and Urusla’s Return, the reprints found in Fabled will be allowed.
The new chapter will feature new Mickey and Minnie art, along with Stitch, Tinker Bell and Winnie the Pooh as the first reprinted cards, but it will also see the debut of a new IP, A Goofy Movie. Details around what characters are showing up on what cards are not known, but based on the art below, you have to imagine that Powerline is going to show up. If you want to check out the concert, Disney released this video in celebration of 30 years of A Goofy Movie.
The cards above are reprints, you can tell because the number 9, at the end of the card details. For example, on Stitch Rock Star, it shows 3/201 - EN - 9, that indicates it’s the 3rd card of 204 in the set, it’s in English and is from Chapter 9.
Finally, there is a tease in the art for Chapter 10, Whispers in the Well, which features a new IP hiding in the background, but there is more. Chapter 10 is coming later this year, but in 2026 Darkwing Duck will deal out justice, in his unique style.
