Logitech G unveils the G515 Rapid TKL for gamers who want a low profile
Logitech have announced a new addition to their Logitech G line, the G515 Rapid TKL keyboard, which takes the low profile of a laptop, but combines it with the power and precision of a gaming keyboard.
The entire thickness of the keyboard is just 22mm, making it one very thin option, but contained within that tiny space are some powerful switches. They can actually activate with just 0.1mm of movement or up to 2.5mm, depending on your preferences and this means you can dial in the response to suit you, rather than the other way around.

Low-profile magnetic analog switches with custom points down to 0.1mm increments
Rapid trigger for ultra-precise start/stop movements
Key priority and multi-point action for advanced command mapping
Premium build – Stainless steel top plate, double-shot PBT keycaps, and pre-lubed switches
The keyboard is available now in black and white colours and has a RRP of $329.95
At the recent Logitech G Play event in Melbourne they did have some of the new keyboards on display and I have to say they were remarkably thin, but still had a great typing feel to them. Of course, they were not hooked up to any computer, so I could not test them out fully, hopefully that comes soon.
