The Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike will redefine mice in 2026

Logitech have announced that they are set to release what they are calling a next generation mouse in 2026, with the reveal of the Logitech G Pro X2 Superstrike.

The reason that Logitech call this next-gen is that it includes a Haptic Inductive Triggers System, instead of the normal click system that mouse users have known for 40 odd years now. What makes this impressive is that the system it can reduce the input latency by 30ms, which for a professional gamer, is a big change.

Speed wins moments, winning moments win matches. With SUPERSTRIKE, we’re not just enhancing click speed, we’re giving pros a new level of adaptation, personalisation and confidence. This is a true breakthrough in the mission of speed and control.
— Robin Piispanen, General Manager of PRO and SIM at Logitech G

The core of this new system lies in replacing traditional microswitches found in the main keys of conventional gaming mice, with our Haptic Inductive Trigger System (HITS). This system allows players to fine-tune click actuation to their exact preferences, while its integrated haptic feedback system ensures every click is felt the moment it registers, giving players precise control and tactile confidence in even the most high-pressure scenarios.

Right now the new mouse is expected to release in Q1 2026, but there is no local price for it, given that the slimmed down version of this is $300 AUD, I would expect this to be $450 or higher, but only time will tell.

I was recently at the Logitech G Play event in Melbourne, where they had the new mouse on display, along with their other announced hardware and it feels great in the hand. Of course, they were not connected to any computers, so I could not test out the new functions.

The photos below are all I took of the new mouse, which comes in White, Black and Pink, though you might think otherwise given the blue lighting that the team who set the event up thought would look great over them.
