Gears 5 is getting some big changes for its next gen debut
Xbox have announced that when Gears 5 get its next gen update for Series X and Series X, players will be able to replay the entire campaign, swapping out Marcus for Dave Batista
But there is more coming to the game than just a character swap for the campaign, though that alone is pretty special. Check out the video below to see what else is coming.
In addition to that new DLC will release for the game in December, adding in a roughly 4 hour long experience that will feature Team Scorpio's Keegan, Lahni, and Mac, though you can swap them out for your own members. The story for it will actually explain the escape game mode, so expect a lot of running, other details are sparse right now, but the big detail is that this was made for next gen, so expect to see some visual wow.

Two new difficulty modes (Ironman and Inconceivable)
Character Skins for Kait, Del, and JD
Weapon Skins
Jack upgrades carry over
Mutators (Big head mode, etc)

The updates are out on November 10 for all versions of the game and the DLC is sometime in November
