Cure Cancer's Game on Cancer Holiday Initiative is back for another year

Cure Cancer have announced that their Game on Cancer Holiday fundraising event is back for another year. Starting next week and running for 30 days, streamers from across the country will be helping to raise money to support funding early career researchers.

Across the fundraisers that Cure Cancer have put together, they have raised over $650,000, helping some 540 research grants to be awarded, which in turn totals around six years of research into the fight against the disease.

Starting on Tuesday November 15th and running until Thursday December 15th, you will be able to follow streamers like Bajo, Goto.game and more. If you are a streamer and want to help, you can register for the fundraiser here, just know you don’t have to do it every day, just when you can.

Everyone who does become a fundraiser has the chance to win some amazing items, with Australian audio masters RØDE and neon specialists Kings of Neon putting up some prizes.

The first 25 fundraisers to raise $2000 will receive a $300 Kings of Neon gift card to purchase their own custom neon light for their streaming setup, there are some restrictions with redeeming them, so just be aware.

Whereas the first 25 fundraisers to raise $4000 will receive a RØDE X Prize Pack valued at $1,146, which includes brand new products such as:

o   XDM-100 microphone

o   XCM-50 microphone

o   NTH-100 headphones

o   PSA1+ desk arm

Of course prizes are not the goal of the event, raising money is and while you can support your favourite streamers that are taking part, you can also donate at anytime, even now.

Every dollar that is donated will support this wonderful cause, so follow along and help out if you can.
