Animal Crossing: New Horizons - Nintendo Switch 2 Edition - Australian Bargain Guide
The first bargain guide for 2025 and it is an upgrade release, ok well not really but also sort of. Animal Crossing: New Horizons Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is the upgraded version of Animal Crossing: New Horizons that released back in 2020. This time though it has higher resolution, extra gameplay features and comes with the 3.0 update.
For existing Nintendo Switch owners of the game, the 3.0 update is also coming there for free, you don’t need to upgrade for that. If you do already own the game and want to upgrade, the Upgrade Pack is $8.
For those who don’t yet own the game from Nintendo Switch, either physically or digitally, you can buy the Switch 2 Edition, which has a RRP of $87.95, which is $8 more than the $79.95 that the Switch release retails for. As you might expect though, you can get the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition cheaper from a few retailers. If you wanted to go ever cheaper, you can get the Switch edition on sale and then buy the upgrade pack, if you so desired.
