Activision has announced that the Star Power from the old Guitar Heroes is gone, but in its place the all new Star Power has arrived.

Hero Powers are the in-game power ups that can give you a score boost or competitive edge as you rock out in Guitar Hero TV. As you play through the games, you will earn coins and then you can use them to purchase the new Hero Powers, which you can equip one of them before you play a song.

The Double Multiplier is one that everyone should know as it acts just like the old Star Power, but there are new ones like the Clear Highway, that will remove all the notes from the screen, but they will be counted towards your successful note hits, allowing your multiplier to grow even more. Safety Net will hold your current score and multiplier at what it is, meaning if you stuff up while it active, you wont loose your progress.

Guitar Hero Live will be available October 20, 2015 on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U
