WWE 2K26 reveals new details about the Universe Mode and Community Creations

2K have revealed new details about two parts of the upcoming WWE 2K26, that is Universe and Community Creations.
In Universe, WWE 2K’s sandbox mode where players manage feuds, storylines, and match outcomes, several new features expand customization and control as you shape your own WWE Universe. After years of community requests, the WWE Draft debuts, letting you move Superstars between show rosters over the course of a week. You can create, edit, or delete drafts within your Universe, keeping rosters and rivalries fresh and unpredictable.
The new Universe Wizard lets players pick which weekly shows and PLEs appear, assign Superstars and champions to each show, and choose the starting month for the calendar. New features also include a Watch Show mode, improved Money in the Bank cash-ins, and additional Promo types. Each show can host up to eight championships across the men’s and women’s divisions—including tag and intergender titles—and accommodate two Money in the Bank briefcases.
Universe Promos adds more variety and realism. Self-Promos let Superstars make short announcements that change their near future — turn hero/heel, switch divisions, set personal challenges, or leave a show. Call-Out/Interrupt Promos give challengers more choices (pick match types or directly challenge for titles). Champions can pick which show will host their title defences. Open Challenges can happen as spontaneous title defences. A new Post-Match Interview promo lets the winner announce a division change, preview a #1 contender match, or issue a title challenge. The loser can interrupt to offer a handshake, start a brawl, or lock eyes in a staredown.
In Community Creations, several new additions are sure to please players. The number of Create-A Superstar slots has been doubled to 200, while the number of Create-An-Image slots has been doubled to 2,000. Body morphing is now available to allow players to mix and match body parts for unusual and amusing appearances, and new two-tone hair colour blending offers an additional outlet for players’ creative imaginations. For Nintendo Switch 2 players, the Joy-Con 2’s mouse controls can be used to add and customise body paint, and the Image Uploader feature is also available.
Create-an-Arena now supports LED barricades, while the customisation options for ring aprons and announce tables have been increased. Finally, an advanced timeline feature for all entrance motions, inclusive of champion, double champion, MITB, and default, has been added.
More details about these updates can be found on the games official site, via the latest Ringside Report.
WWE 2K26 will arrive on March 13 for Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. If you order one of the three non-standard editions, you can get access to the game on March 6.
