What are Embracer working on... A look at their studios

What are Embracer working on... A look at their studios

2025 was a big year for Embracer and the various groups that they own, as they released a lot of games, as you can see below, but after years of being the wrong man for the job, Lars Wingefors resigned and a new CEO was appointed.

Now I know that it is not cool to cheer at someone resigning, though they are still around as chairman, but Wingefors was the one who bought, bought, bought for years. Then when a $2 billion deal fell through, he sold, closed and screwed over thousands of employees, rather than taking any sort of financial or social penalty himself. For context they divested a few studios in 2025, along with spinning Asmodee and Coffee Stain, into new companies, sold 14 and closed 4 studios in 2024, closing a half dozen the year before and laying off even more. In 2022 they had a headcount of around ~11,000 developers and last reported count was down under 6,000.

The group has also reworked its reporting structure a little, with the split of Asmodee and Coffee Stain into their own groups, the remaining developers like Crystal Dynamics, 4A Games, Tarsier Studios and Gunfire Games, to name a few, all fall under the new group called Fellowship Entertainment. The operating groups like THQ Nordic, Plaion and such still exist, they just now fall under that new name. But we will get into that in a bit. For now, these are the games that were published in 2025, with those titles that are bolded being original releases:

  • Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles - Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S

  • The Stone of Madness - Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S

  • Kingdom Come: Deliverance II - PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S

  • Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered - Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S

  • Rogue Waters - Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S

  • Ninja Five-O - Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5

  • Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure - PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S

  • MotoGP 25 - Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S

  • Gex Trilogy - Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S

  • Echoes of the End - PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S

  • Songs of Conquest - Nintendo Switch

  • Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition - Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S

  • Chip 'n Clawz vs. The Brainioids - PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S

  • Killing Floor 3 - PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S

  • Earthion - Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S

  • Fear Effect - Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5

  • Metal Eden - PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S

  • Lethal Honor: Order of the Apocalypse - PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S

  • Wreckreation - PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S

  • Sacred 2: Fallen Angel Remaster - PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S

  • SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide - Nintendo Switch 2, PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S

  • Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition - Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2

There were a number of layoffs across the year with Plaion, Crystal Dynamics, Eidos-Montreal, all losing staff. In fact, the last two were reportedly hit three different times with staff being let go.

The group divested the following studios in 2025:

  • Arc Games

  • Cryptic Studios

Both studios were bought by Project Golden Arc, Inc, which is partially owned by members of the Arc Games team

If you are curious to see how we did in years past, you can find our 2025, 2024, 2023 and 2022 Previews here.

Fellowship Entertainment

Crystal Dynamics - Eidos

Crystal Dynamics

Locations: San Carlos, USA | Austin, USA | Bellevue, USA

Known for: Tomb Raider, Gex, Legacy of Kain | Last game released: Marvel's Avengers

2025 was a year of contradictions for this group, they had their work cancelled on Perfect Dark after Xbox shut it down, and then they had three separate rounds of lay offs across the year. However, they ended the year with revealing two new Tomb Raider games, well one new and one remake. They also began the year helping oversee the release of the Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered work that was done by Aspyr.

2026 will see the studio support the release of Legacy of Atlantis, which is the second remake of the original Tomb Raider game, though the bulk of the development work is being done by Flying Wild Hog. Beyond that, the team will likely just be getting down to working on Catalyst, which is the game coming in 2027. It is also possible that we see both Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider come to Nintendo Switch 2, if not Nintendo Switch, given that they share the same engine and the first just came to both platforms last year.

Eidos-Montreal

Known for: Deus Ex, Thief | Last game released: Grounded 2

2025 was also an odd year for the Eidos team, as this was their first year without the Sherbrooke studio, but after years of not releasing anything, they finally got a game out the door, sort of. Grounded 2 was the game, as they were announced to be working with Obsidian Entertainment on it, doing a lot of the heavy lifting in fact. This was surprising news when it was announced, as the studio was also confirmed to be working on Fable, alongside Playground Games. If that was not enough, they also supported developer Maze Theory with their release of Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow.

So, what does 2026 hold for the studio? Well more content updates for Grounded 2, you can learn more about there here, but beyond that Fable. The catch of course is that we don’t know how much work is being done by the studio on Fable, and how many of their roughly 500 staff are on that. In fact we don’t know the split of who is on what at all, which I doubt is half on one and half on the other. Now I did find some references to something unannounced, but as it is unannounced, I have no other details beyond the fact that something is coming, the question is when will it be revealed? Honestly, Fable and Grounded 2 are this years focus and whatever is next, 2027 or later.

Freemode

Captured Dimensions

This group is not a developer, but rather a scanner. Captured Dimensions offers up scanning of faces, objects, sets and more. All of which can be included in games, tv, movies and more. While it is possible that their name might show up in some credits this year, it is not something you should worry about too much.

Clear River Games

This is basically the European version of Limited Run Games, almost everything that LRG has on their site, CRG has on theirs. The catch is that LRG does the pre-orders of everything and CRG just sells stock like normal. They don’t have the same stock, there are no Star Wars or Yakuza, but they do have the first Switch 2 game from the overall group, if Rushing Beat X: Return of Brawl Brothers is your thing.

Gioteck

These guys make console accessories like controllers, headsets and stands. Last year saw them release a line of Nintendo Switch 2 supported controllers, as well as updating some of their other offerings. Given they make accessories, there is no telling what they are doing until they announce it.

GOE Distribution

This is just a distribution company, they bring products into Europe for sale, as such they have nothing for us to worry about.

Grimfrost

These guys make Viking stuff, no seriously. If you want to dress like a Viking on the street or at the gym, they have stuff for you. They even have a range of feasting options, like drinking horns, tankards and of course, mead. They also sell jewellery and replicas of Thor’s hammer and if you want to be a real Viking, they have supplies to style your beard.

Limited Run Games

Limited Run Games has built a reputation on delivering some pretty amazing collections, some of which include bringing classic games to modern platforms. Their model is built around order today, get it next year and while they sometimes meet that deadline, they do run into times where things are delayed, or the quality is beyond bad. As they work with partners like Sega, Atari, Ubisoft and more to bring games to players, there is no telling what they are going to do for this year, oh wait there is. Some of the games in the below video have been and gone, but some are still to come.

Middle-Earth Enterprises

If you like Lord of the Rings or The Hobbit, this is where all that is managed. The group oversee everything from movies to games, stage plays to merch, if it has an elf, an orc and a hobbit, they are in control. There are no known games at this time, but that does not mean that won’t change across the year, we just have to keep an eye out.

Quantic Lab

This is mostly a Quality Assurance team, that other developers can hire to test their games. There work has included games like Cyberpunk 2077, Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered and Baldur’s Gate III. Given that they are a work for hire group, they might show up in a games credits this year, but on what is an unknown.

Tatsujin

A Japanese developer from the 90s, they now mostly licence out their games to companies who want to port them to modern platforms. Given they are living off their historic releases, I don’t think there will be anything new from them, but we might see their name pop up across the year.

Other

34BigThings

Known for: Redout, Otto | Last game released: Redout II

If we had of published this list like six weeks back, we might have said we don’t know what the studio are up to, beyond the face we know they are doing something. However they officially announced Carmageddon: Rogue Shift and it launches in just a few weeks. Given that they have done a lot of post launch support for their other games in the past, I expect that to happen with this one. So now we just wait for February 6.

4A Games

Locations: Tas-Sliema, Malta | Kyiv, Ukraine

Known for: Metro | Last game released: Metro Exodus

Metro Exodus released back in 2019 and apart from supporting the development of Metro VR, the team have been silent. 2025 saw the Kyiv studio location be rebranded to Reburn, who launched their first game La Quimera into early access last May. The studio operates outside of the 4A Games model, sort of how Jetstar is to Qantas, but they are still apart of the family. As for the main 4A Games team, we know they are working on something and there is a good chance it will be made on Unreal Engine, given some of the job listings. Almost all those job listings do confirm it is a new IP, so it is possible they are going to keep silent for a while longer, but who can honestly tell.

Aspyr

Known for: Various ports and remasters | Last game released: Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered

2025 started out fairly strong for Aspyr, within a space of 4 weeks they shipped Star Wars Episode I: Jedi Power Battles and Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered, but that was it. Later in the year, it was revealed that they were doing Deus Ex: Remastered, but while that was expected to release later in the year, they delayed it. But then as if there was a need to fill the void, they went ahead and released Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition onto Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 in November.

So that was 2025, but what about 2026? Well, we know that the team are working to bring Deus Ex: Remastered out this February and beyond that, who knows. The studio does keep fairly quiet, outside of their reveals, even once they announce something, they only reshare that announcement. They had a few open roles they are looking to fill, but none of those give any indication of what they could be doing. Given the amount of work they have done on Tomb Raider lately, it is always possible we might see more Tomb Raider come to Switch and Switch 2, they could also bring some of the other games to modern platforms, though they are running out of those. Star Wars is always an option given they have worked on like a dozen of them over the years, and there are some Nintendo 64 games still left behind, Shadows of the Empire anyone? I suspect that with the February Nintendo Direct and State of Play, we might hear what is next from them there, beyond that, I have no idea.

Beamdog

Known for: Baldur’s Gate Remasters, Neverwinter Nights Remasters | Last game released: Avowed

2025 started out pretty strong for Beamdog, as they were working on Avowed with Obsidian, which makes sense, given Beamdog knows their old school RPGs, with their remastering work on Baldur’s Gate and Neverwinter Nights. They then spent the rest of 2025 working on their own games, dropping updates and fixes across the year, but in December they announced they were closing down the Beamdog Client. This was just Steam but for Beamdog games and while users could keep using it, no new content or games will be made available via it.

As for 2026, I know they have something new coming as the studio is working on a new IP and it is in Unreal Engine 5, but details beyond that, I could not find. They did have a number of open roles across 2025, which have been filled, so they are likely just going to be heads down for a while, and given they are a small studio, I don’t expect anything else before their next big game.

Demiurge Studio

Known for: Marvel Puzzle Quest, Hearthstone Battlegrounds | Last game released: Marvel SNAP

After providing support on games like Marvel Snap, Marvel Puzzle Quest and Teamfight Tactics, the folks at Demiurge have been hard at work on 2XKO, which has been in early access on PC for a while. The game will get a big update when it comes to consoles in just a weeks time, well week and change. Beyond the console release, I expect the studio to be fully focused on content and patches for the game for the long haul, assuming the game has players.

Tripwire Interactive

Known for: Maneater, Chivalry 2 | Last game released: Killing Floor 3

2025 saw Tripwire Interactive release Killing Floor 3, eventually, as the game got a last minute delay from early in the year until later in the year, but it did release. Since then the studio has kept the patches and content coming and that is likely to continue in 2026. While they do make their own games, they do publish a number of other titles as well, like Chivalry 2. In February they will be publishing NORSE: Oath of Blood, for developer Arctic Hazard. With no open roles, I don’t expect to see any new games from the studio directly, but publishing one or two is not out of the question in 2026.

Plaion

Dambuster Studios

Known for: Homefront: The Revolution | Last game released: Dead Island 2

Dambuster Studios have had a bit of a rough ride, first they were Free Radical Design, then they were Crytek UK and then Dambusters. When they got the name change, they picked up Homefront: The Revolution. That game was expected to be worked on by one studio, but then these guys took over and over the course of development, the game got three different publishers and a name change. While not a commercial success, it has its fans and after that the team picked up Dead Island 2. This game took just as long to come out, once these guys started working on it, but it finally launched, but that was in 2023.

Now the studio has not officially announced what they are working on, but a financial report from early 2025 did say that they were working on Dead Island 3, but it won’t due out until 2028, which would give them 5 years of development, not counting the DLC for the last game. That seems like a decent amount of time for the game, more so as they don’t have to try and make it work around expectations that folks have from a pretty cool trailer. The studio has a few open roles, but none of those indicate anything special, so I guess for now it is a wait and see.

Fish Labs

Known for: Galaxy on Fire | Last game released: Goat Simulator 3

What started out as a developer of their own games, when they got picked up by Koch Media, or now Plaion, they pivoted to being a port studio, they helped bring the Goat Simulator 3 game to consoles, alongside the original developer. Since then they have done DLC for Dead Island 2, console ports for Teardown and Satisfactory and even assisted with Albion Online.

As for what is happening next, I did find some mentions of some unannounced projects happening at the studio, but there is nothing more beyond that. Now given the studios porting history you might think it was just another port, which is fine and then begs the question of what game? I would like to think that they are now moving towards an original title again, their Galaxy of Fire series has not seen a release in years. Only time will tell what they are working on next.

Flying Wild Hog

Locations: Warsaw, Poland | Cracow, Poland | Rzeszow, Poland

Known for: Shadow Warrior, Hard Reset | Last game released: Evil West

It has been a while since this group released a game, they did have Space Punks in development and early access, but it was cancelled. Of course, we know what they are working on next as it was announced in December, they are doing Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis, as a co-developer with Crystal Dynamics.

Given that their game is expected to release this year, I imagine we are going to hear their name a bit, as whatever the release date is gets closer. It is also possible that the team have something else cooking, as they are a few hundred folks across three locations, is that true, who knows, I found nothing to support it. I just have to imagine that they did not spend 4 years remaking Tomb Raider and doing nothing else.

Milestone

Known for: Ride, Hot Wheels Unleashed | Last game released: MotoGP 25

Milestone is a very consistent studio, they released MotoGP 25 and Monster Energy Supercross 25 in 2025, which followed games like Hot Wheels Unleashed and Monster Jam Showdown. Each year they release games for MotoGP and while not announced yet, they have not missed a year since they started making them.

We also know that Ride 6 will arrive this February, making it about 2.5 years since the last entry in that series. Screamer is also expected to launch in March and with MotoGP games usually launching in May, that will give them a pretty front loaded 2026. Unless the team has a new Hot Wheels on Monster Jam game coming, the rest of their year will be doing content drops and patches for the three games they will have out by May.

Vertigo Games

Known for: Arizona Sunshine, Metro VR | Last game released: Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow

More a publisher than a developer Vertigo Games helped developer Maze Theory release Thief VR: Legacy of Shadow last year and support the post-launch with patches and fixes. The studio is often quiet on their upcoming works, in fact apart from one listing of ‘unannounced project’ I can’t see anything that they could be doing. They have no open roles, which does not mean much, because again they are publishers more than developers. I expect their name will pop up in 2026, but I don’t know for what.

Warhorse Studios

Known for: Kingdom Come: Deliverance | Last game released: Kingdom Come: Deliverance II

Considering that the studio just shipped their second major game last year and three fairly large DLC packs, I don’t expect to hear much from them in 2026. The only thing we might hear and it is a big might, is if they opt to bring either of the games to Nintendo Switch 2. The first game is on Nintendo Switch, but it is not the best way to play that game, so an updated version for Switch 2 would make sense. This is only a bit of a hope, beyond that and even though they have some open roles, don’t expect much from them this year.

THQ Nordic

Alkima Interactive

Known for: Gothic | Last game released: Gothic II Complete Classic

Last year I said that the studio was aiming to release Gothic 1 Remake in 2025, and that never happened, though there was progress. In February last year, we got a demo and people did not like it, but the team took that feedback on board. At Gamescom 2025, a new demo was playable and people seemed more receptive to the game. Across the year more and more updates were posted to Steam, which seems to be the only place they are going, as their website is the same as it was 2 years ago and their social channels have mostly be abandoned. Will the game release this year? The studio has been at this for 5 years, so you would want to hope so, but only time will tell on this one.

Appeal Studios

Known for: Outcast series | Last game released: Outcast: A New Beginning

2024 was when this studio shipped their last game and since then it has been radio silent. The group still have no website worth talking about and their social activity is even worse. I was able to find confirmation of something happening, but nothing beyond that and given how radio silent they are, I don’t think that will change much this year.

ashborn Games

Known for: Comanche Remake | Last game released: Last Train Home

Last year we said that after the studio shipped a game in 2024, that there was no way we hear from them in 2025. Cut to the THQ Nordic Showcase and the team revealed The Guild - Europa 1410. The game does not have a release date but the team have been fairly consistent with updates via the games Steam page. Given the lack of release window, I don’t expect to see this one in 2026, released that is, development updates and playtests for sure though.

Black Forest Games

Known for: Giana Sisters | Last game released: Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed

2023 saw this studios last game downgraded to other platforms and since then, it has been quiet. The studio did lose a number of staff in 2024, which would have put a damper on their work of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin. That seems to have been the case as when the THQ Nordic Showcase for 2025 wrapped up, the team put on the screen that 28 games were in development, 15 of which were unannounced. They then put logos up on the screen for the games that were known and The Last Ronin was not there.

They had 13 games on screen, which add the 15 unknown titles and you get 28 and as The Last Ronin had been announced, it can’t be one of those 15. Now THQ Nordic have not said anything about the game at all, since it was announced back in 2023 and with that fancy graphic all but confirming it ain’t happening, I have to imagine it is not. If that is the case, what might the studio be working on? No idea, I can’t find anything and I suspect its due to the game being axed sometime last year.

Bugbear Games

Known for: Wreckfest, FlatOut | Last game released: Wreckfest 2

Last year we said that Wreckfest 2 had very little chance of releasing in 2025 and we were sort of right, as the full game is not out, but it did release into early access. Since the release into early access, the studio has kept the release of content pretty consistent, every six to eight weeks, depending on patch releases. The studios website currently lists a lot of open roles, but there are no details to them, so we don’t know how old they are. For now, I expect the team to stick to their current content cadence, until they have enough to think of the 1.0 release, will that happen this year? I don’t think so, but as it was proven from this studio last year, they are happy to prove me wrong.

Campfire Cabal

In August 2023 this studio was marked for closure, which is why it was not on our list last year, or the year before, but something amazing happened. In May 2025, the studio stepped back out of the shadows, you can read more about the story here, but basically instead of closing they downsized a lot and kept the lights on and were finally given permission to be a real studio again last year. The team are working on a new game in the Expeditions series, but they have not said anything about its setting or period. For now, as they spent a lot of 2025 staffing up again, we just need to wait and see.

Digixart

Known for: Road 96 | Last game released: Road 96: Mile 0

Last year we said that if this group did not release their new game, Tides of Tomorrow in 2025, then we would get a trailer with a release date and we got that, with the game coming out next month. Given the studio is going to be heads down on this until release, don’t expect much else until at least mid-year, beyond a patch or two.

Experiment 101

Known for: Biomutant | Last game released: Biomutant

It has been a number of years since this group released their debut game and while it did make its way to every platform in time, the studio has been working on something new for the past 2 years or so. All I know is that it is being made in Unreal Engine 5, and it will have a narrative. That sort of rules out a puzzle game and while there were no sales figures for Biomutant, it never really gained a lot of attention, so I doubt a sequel is what they are doing, but I could be wrong.

Gate 21

This studio is where digital characters are created, they have worked on Gangs of Sherwood, Gothic 1 Remake and Alone in the Dark. As such, they don’t make games on their own, they assist others with games. Odds are good we see their name somewhere this year, Gothic 1 Remake being the likely game, but they could pop up elsewhere.

Grimlore Games

Known for: Spellforce 3 | Last game released: Titan Quest II

After sitting on Project Minerva for a while, they revealed it was Titan Quest II in mid-2023 and then silence. Well not complete silence, as they started to talk about the game last year, because it launched into early access on PC. The studio announced that the game would get content update every 3 months or so and have kept on track. Given there is no end window in sight for the game, expect to hear the developers talk about little else over the next 12 months.

Gunfire Games

Known for: Darksiders, Remnant | Last game released: Remnant II

After teasing a new Darksiders game back in 2024, last year saw them confirm that it was in fact Darksiders 4. We know that the game will be a 3rd person action adventure game, going back to the style of the first three games and not the fourth isometric one and that players will be able to play as all four horsemen. Given that the game has been in development for a few years now, I would imagine in the 2026 THQ Nordic Showcase, it does get the spotlight treatment, but I doubt it will be released until next year.

Handy Games

Known for: Countless | Last game released: Way of the Hunter – Wild America

Both a developer and a publisher, Handy Games brings a lot of series to mobile and VR, with games like El Hijo: A Wild West Tale, This Is the President and Wreckfest Mobile. The studio is always working on things, sometimes they are ports of games to mobile like Way of the Hunter, other times they are publishing games from other studios. The studios name will show up across the year, just no telling if its for original games or only published.

Kaiko

Known for: Legend of Kay, Red Faction Guerrilla Re-MARS-tered | Last game released: Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning

This team have been very quiet over the past few years and while we know they are working on something new, we have no idea what. The studio has no open roles, which makes sense, given that they laid off a whole lot of folks in 2025. Given their silence for the past few years, I have to hope that they break it this August in the THQ Nordic Showcase, if that happens, else I suspect it will be another year of silence from this studio.

Massive Miniteam

Known for: Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure | Last game released: Oddsparks: An Automation Adventure

May 2025 is when Oddsparks finally left its early access period and launched fully on PC and since then the studio has released quite a number of DLC packs. The packs and patches ran the length of 2025 and while nothing is announced for 2026 at this time, I have to they keep the content coming, but only time will tell.

Metricminos

Much like Gate 21 above, this studio is not a developer but rather they are a motion capture house. Which means they are involved in a lot of games. Will they be involved in something this year, that is quite likely, the only question will be for what.

Nine Rock Games

Known for: Way of the Hunter | Last game released: Way of the Hunter

For a few years now, Nine Rock Games has been releasing content for their hunting game, Way of the Hunter and while the will continue for a bit, the studio has something new in the works. It is another hunting game, it was teased in November 2025 and there are two things we know about the game, the first is that it is being built in Unreal Engine 5 and the second is that the studio is using it as a chance to reset everything. What this means is that they are not just going to bring what players know into the new game, but rather will take the approach of what if it could be better. As the game has only been teased and not revealed, I expect the developers to not say much for most of the year, we could get another teaser in August, but I suspect those looking for a hunting fix will need to find their own way in 2026.

Purple Lamp

Known for: Epic Mickey: Rebrushed, SpongeBob SquarePants | Last game released: SpongeBob SquarePants: Titans of the Tide

Given that Purple Lamp just shipped a brand new SpongBob SquarePants game at the end of 2025, I would say that we are unlikely to hear from them this year, but we know there were DLC plans. The game got the two promised DLCs in December, just a few weeks after the game launched. The question has to be, will there be more DLC, you would have to imagine there will be, given the game has been received quite well. If there are no DLCs, I have to think the developers are looking at a last-gen downgrade for the game, in only because of the sheer number of platforms missing out on the game, around 210m+ consoles, but I have nothing to support that. If the studio have no further plans for the game, then expect them to be quiet, though I could see them teasing an update to Epic Mickey 2 at some point this year.

Snapshot Games

Known for: Phoenix Point, Frosthaven | Last game released: Chip ‘n Clawz vs. The Brainioids

After being super quiet for a number of years after the release of Phoenix Point, Snapshot games dropped two games in one month last year, with Frosthaven launching in early August and then Chip ‘n Clawz vs. The Brainioids coming at the end of the month. While the latter of the two was a full release, the former is an early access game and as such has been getting some consistent updates across the rest of the year.

As for what is next, well they have no open roles, which usually means nothing major is coming. Apart from keeping the roadmap for Frosthaven on track, I don’t expect we will hear much from them for a year or more.

Tarsier Studios

Known for: Little Nightmares, The Stretchers | Last game released: Little Nightmares II

After working for a few years on Reanimal, Tarsier Studios are just about ready to release the game, as the game is launching next month. Beyond the release of the game, I don’t expect to hear much from them in 2026, as they are not a big studio and nor do they have multiple projects going at once.

Voxler

Known for: Let’s Sing | Last game released: Let’s Sing 2026

This group make the Let’s Sing series and honestly nothing much else. They have done games for The Voice, but that is also just singing. Just like Just Dance, the game now offers a pass that lets players access songs from a large library of tracks, but outside of that, I don’t expect them not to release Let’s Sing 2027 this year. The only thing that might change, is if they do something like Let’s Sing ABBA, which they did a few years ago. If they were to do a standalone group release, which artist do you want to hear from?

ZEN Studios

Known for: Pinball FX, Williams Pinball | Last game released: Pinball FX VR

Zen Studio make pinball games and really very little else. Last year saw them release Pinball FX VR to players and apart from additional content for it and their other games, they kept fairly quiet. Given their pinball obsessed nature, I don’t expect much to change this year, outside of new tables. Maybe they will surprise players, but they have not done anything drastic beyond Circus Electrique a few years ago.

So there we go, everything for the Embracer group, well the Fellowship Entertainment part anyway. Do you think they will deliver on their promises this year? And do you think we are right with our predictions?
