Tomb Raider Remastered I-III gets new challenges and new platforms today

Aspyr and Crystal Dynamics have announced that Tomb Raider I-III Remastered has been given a new update for all versions of the game, adding in the new Challenge Mode. If that was not enough the game has launched onto Android and iOS devices, with the Nintendo Switch 2 specific release coming next week. Check out the trailer for the Challenge Mode below.
The Challenge Mode update, not only adds in new challenges, but it also offers a lot more, here is what you can expect to discover in it.
New Challenge Mode: Test your skills with new difficulty customization options! Modify health, damage, bonuses, enemies, and more to create new challenges with endless replayability. The higher the challenge rating, the more you’ll unlock!
10 New Outfits: Complete achievements to unlock 10 new Lara Croft outfits with upgraded abilities to push you further on your next run. Each new outfit offers new bonuses like the ability to run faster, dive deeper, and fight harder!
15 New Achievements: Increase your achievement and trophy collection with the addition of new Challenge Mode achievements.
Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Starring Lara Croft is available today on iOS and Android for the very first time. iOS and Android users can also try out the first level of each game in the collection for free before purchasing.
The game has also released onto Nintendo Switch 2 as a native release, but there is a catch for anyone who owns the Switch version of the game. The Nintendo Switch 2 version of the game will offer enhanced resolution of 1440p at 60 FPS docked and 1080p resolution at 120 FPS in handheld mode, which is nice to see. The catch is that the free upgrade is coming next week, the full release is available now.
If you own the Nintendo Switch version of Tomb Raider I-III Remastered, do not go looking for the Nintendo Switch 2 version today as you will need to pay for that, wait until the 19th of March when the upgrade patch is released for free. If you don’t own the previous generation release, you can buy the Nintendo Switch 2 version here and there is a launch discount.
