The Witcher begins its fourth season later this month

Netflix have released a full trailer for Season 4 of The Witcher, with Geralt now played by Liam Hemsworth, along with the premiere date of October 30, check it out below.

Season 4 will continue with Geralt tracking down Ciri, who vanished after the events of the third season finale. All we know right now is the official blurb that has been released.

After the Continent-altering events of Season Three, Geralt, Yennefer, and Ciri find themselves separated by a raging war and countless enemies. As their paths diverge, and their goals sharpen, they stumble on unexpected allies eager to join their journeys. And if they can accept these found families, they just might have a chance at reuniting for good…

There is no word on if the recasting will be addressed in the show, like a spell gone wrong, or if we just roll with it. This is not the first show to recast a lead, either due to them leaving the show for personal or health reasons, but it is one of the bigger shows of late to deal with it.

The series begins its fourth season on October 30.
