The Outer Worlds 2 blasts off a new trailer thanks to Gamescom

Thanks to Gamescom Opening Night Live 2025, we have a new trailer to enjoy for The Outer Worlds 2, think of it as a Companion piece to the Direct they had a few months back. The game itself is set to release this October 29, check it out.
We already got some detail about the companions back in June, but in case you missed it, here are their names and basic details:
Niles: Another Earth Directorate recruit torn between duty and defection.
Inez: A former experiment from Auntie’s Choice with a grafted combat edge and a moral core.
Aza: A chaos-loving Rift worshipper with a taste for violence and room to grow – maybe.
Marisol: A stoic killer from the Order of the Ascendant with calculations to settle.
Tristen: A walking tank and judge from the Protectorate, looking to dispense justice – or redefine it.
Valerie: A floating, chirping support unit with unexpected upgrades and untapped potential.
For those curious, it was outlined in the trailer that there will be no sleeping with the companions.
The Outer Worlds 2 arrives on October 29th for Xbox Series X|S, PC and PlayStation 5. It will be a Day One addition for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass members.
