The colourful tactical Cantata will leave early access this August
Modern Wolf and developer Afterschool Studio have announced that Cantata, the tactical game set on a war ravaged alien planet, will leave early access and graduate to its 1.0 release on August 15th. Check out the latest trailer for the game below.
Players will need to capture regions, build structures, expand your army, and more. In Cantata, you’ll battle for supremacy as one of three unique sci-fi factions in a genre-defining experience - combining the scope of Grand Strategy titles with the turn-based skirmishes of classic Tactics games. Brought to life through beautifully hand-crafted art, music, and writing, players can dominate the treacherous world of Shoal across nine fully-authored story campaigns.
The best news for existing players is that with the 1.0 release, there will be three new chapters added, giving even more to enjoy.
Once the campaign is done, there will be full online and local multiplayer, along with the ability to make your own maps and share them online, plus the skirmish mode, for those who just want a quick challenge.
