Each week there are a lot of news stories that come through, some are massive enough that they generate conversation, then there are those that can just slide on by.

Given that this was the week after not-E3, it was always going to be quieter and with most of the major companies enjoying a ‘summer’ break, that made it doubly so, but there was still some big news out from the week.

The enhanced PlayStation Plus has launched in Australia, bringing with it a collection of classic PlayStation, PlayStation 2 and PlayStation Portable games, along with a decent sized library of PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 games. It also covers a decent range of genres as well, which is nice.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 Delivers A Slew Of New Information Directly To Players

The first Nintendo Direct in months and it was all about the upcoming Xenoblade Chronicles 3, from characters and world information, combat and beyond, there was a lot packed in. We also got details on how amiibo will work in the game, which yes those are still a thing and much like the second game in the series, this will also have post release content.

Lego Con Is Coming To Australia This July, Bringing The Fun To The Sydney Showgrounds

Having done two successful digital only shows, Lego have announced the first in person Lego Con is building up in Sydney this July. With showings from some master builders, the chance to sit in a life-sized Lego F1 car and more, there is a lot to see. Tickets are free and there is even a session on each day, for folks with sensory issues, so all can enjoy the fun of Lego Con.
