SteelSeries have announced the Arctis Nova 3

SteelSeries have announced that they have a new headset, the Arctis Nova 3. This is the newest entry in the Arctis Nova range, with the 5 releasing last year. Check out the video below to see what you get with the headset, as well as some of the features.

The headset has a number of features that make it an attractive option for gamers, the 30+ hour battery life via the dongle and 40 hours when connecting via Bluetooth. Given that most modern devices support Bluetooth in some fashion, that makes it the most well-connected headset around and given the RRP is only $199.95, that makes it an even better offering.

The dual connection methods also means you can have the headset paired to your phone, and with your gaming platform of choice through the dongle, if you get a call, you just swap the input on the headset and keep going.

The headset also features the same extreme comfort levels that the SteelSeries range is known for, at least that is what they say and as someone who uses a SteelSeries headset all the time, I believe them.

Perhaps the reason to get this headset, if you are on the hunt for a new one, is the Arctis App. With the app you can change the EQ for it, with just the tap of your phone screen. You can create custom EQ profiles, or select from the more than 200 presets, with a number of them created for specific games. These are not just random people creating them, but professional gamers who live by clear audio. This was a feature first introduced in the Arctis Nova 5, so I am happy to see its returning.

As for colours, the range has the biggest offering ever, as previously it was black or white. The new headset comes in Aqua, Black, Lavender and White. There are two styles, the Arctis Nova 3X and the Arctis Nova 3P. The difference comes from supported platforms, the 3X supports everything, but the 3P does not support Xbox. Just due to how the Xbox audio works, but as both headsets support 3D audio, you need to ensure you get the right one for the right console. X is for Xbox and P is for PlayStation, PC, Mobile and Switch will be fine with either.

If you are after a pair for yourself, you can order them direct from SteelSeries now, or check out your preferred retailer.
