Star Wars: The TV Shows in development
Star Wars is heading back to the big screen in 2026 and beyond, but the small screen has kept the fandom going for years now, 20 years almost with the animated shows and now live action via Disney+
Last year’s list was mostly made up of things that had dates, except for Season 2 of Ahsoka and this year its sort of the inverse, as only a few have dates, the rest are unknown. So, let us begin with the shows that have a date, and the first one is out today!
For shows where there are trailers, we will show those, for the rest it will be images.
Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld

Star Wars Visions - Volume 3
Out: October 29, 2025
Young Jedi Adventures - Season 3
Out: Spring 2025
Ahsoka - Season 2
Out: TBA
The second season of Ahsoka has begun filming, with it starting the week after Star Wars Celebration Japan 2025. The only details we know for this new season is that Hayden Christiansen will return as Anakin Skywalker and that Rory McCann has been cast as Baylan Skoll, you can see him as the character below. This casting change was a result of the previous actor Ray Stevenson passing away just ahead of the first seasons premiere.
In last year’s list we went from having four live action shows to one this year, so we are in the lull of that, but as you can see Animation is picking up the slack once again. Do any of these shows interest you?
