Star Wars Battlefront II gets a new Celebration Edition

Electronic Arts has announced that gamers can now get all of the content that has been released for Star Wars Battlefront II, with the release of the Celebration Edition. This new version of the game can be bought on its own, but if you already own the base game, you can upgrade to the Celebration Edition for a nominal price.

This edition contains the complete collection* of customization content acquirable through in-game purchase from Star Wars Battlefront II’s original release up to – and including – items from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker.

The Celebration Edition contains:

  • Base Game

    • Including all past and upcoming free game updates** as they release

  • More than 25 Hero Appearances

    • Including six Legendary Appearances, plus one Appearance each for Rey, Finn, and Kylo Ren inspired by Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, coming December 17

  • More than 125 Trooper and Reinforcement Appearances

  • More than 100 Hero and Trooper Emotes and Voice Lines

  • More than 70 Hero and Trooper Victory Poses.

New Appearances released on December 5 for the Clone Commando, BX Commando Droid, ARC Trooper, and the Droideka are included as well.

Plus starting December 17, the next free update available to all Star Wars Battlefront II players is titled The Rise of Skywalker and focuses on content inspired by the upcoming, highly anticipated film. A brand-new jungle planet – that you might have caught a glimpse of in the last trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker – is coming to the game, more details will be revealed when the content is released.
