Rune Factory 4 Special is offering a lot of new content
Marvelous have announced that Rune Factory 4 Special will hit Nintendo Switch on February 28th and will be available as both a standard edition, or a special edition, check out the latest trailer below.
The game originally released on Nintendo 3DS, but this is the first time that the series has made the HD jump, but it is not just a new coat of paint. The game will include some new features, like a more challenging difficulty called “Hell” and the new Newlywed feature.
In that, players will have the chance to live the married life with one of 12 eligible characters, complete with new scenes and voices. Plus for the first month after release, a new DLC chapter will be free to all owners, before then requiring payment.
Finally, anyone who pre-orders the game will score the new Swimsuit DLC, which adds new costumes for almost all of the characters in the game. This is also included in the Archival Edition, which you can order here, though a shipping date is not yet set. If you just want the game digitally, you can get it from the Nintendo eShop here.
