Rue Valley picked up a release date thanks to Gamescom

Owlcat Games and developer Emotion Spark Studio have given a release date for Rue Valley, an isometric narrative adventure game about one man’s struggle to break free from a time loop by confronting the struggles within his own mind. The game will release on November 11. Check out the latest trailer for the game below.
Rue Valley is an isometric narrative RPG following a man caught in a time loop where each reset changes not only what he can do, but who he becomes. Players carry memories across loops, unlocking new dialogue, mindsets, and ways to interact with the strange world around the Rue Valley. Along the way, they’ll encounter a captivating ensemble of characters, each wrestling with their own emotional complexities and revealing hidden depths as you get to know them.
The team have not been shy in admitting that they are drawing inspiration from games like Disco Elysium, but the big thing for the game is that each time you loop back around to the start, you can play the game differently. The team have even gone so far as to say you can be a cold-hearted character one time through and a loudmouth the next time. The way you speak to folks will unlock new options, so if a person gives you nothing for being polite, but responds to your rudeness, you can use what they give you next time though and be polite again.
The games visual style has a few influences as well, but one of the big ones is Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, which you should see easy in the trailer and screeens.
The game is coming to Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S this November 11.
