Read Only Memories: NEURODIVER has finally been given an actual release date

After a number of delays, Chorus Worldwide and developer MidBoss have announced that Read Only Memories: NEURODIVER will finally release on May 16th, 2024 and they actually mean it this time. Check out the latest trailer for the game below.

So what is the game all about? Here is the official description as provided by the publisher:

Join ES88, a young esper, as she works to uncover a dark secret lurking in Neo-San Francisco. Employed by MINERVA, a powerful organization specializing in information science, neurotechnology, and extrasensory phenomena, ES88 has been tasked with tracking down the mysterious psychic entity known as Golden Butterfly, who has been hiding in and fragmenting the memories of Neo-San Francisco's citizens. Who are they? Why are they doing this? And how will you stop them?

The game is actually a sequel to 2064: Read Only Memories, which released some years ago. This new game features a new story, new characters, but some returning ones will also join the fun.

It’s actually coming out?! No, this is not one of Golden Butterfly’s tricks, but the final, final (we promise) release date for the long-awaited sequel. Truth be told, we wanted MidBoss to take the necessary time to craft an experience as memorable as 2064: Read Only Memories… and they have certainly delivered.

The game will launch on PC, Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, though its backwards compatible on Series X|S. A physical release for the game is also happening in standard and collectors edition forms, but only for Switch and PlayStation 5. If you want to pick it up that way, you can do so here.
