RAEV: Kingdom on the Distant Shores shows off new gameplay

V Publishing and developer Ravine Games have released a new trailer for RAEV: Kingdom of the Distant Shores, showing off all-new gameplay for the first time, check it out.
In RAEV, assume your position on the throne as ruler of Nytland and become acquainted with your Raevins, your charming foxfolk citizens. However, you won’t just be a monarch who sits around willy-nilly — the ability to shape each and every aspect of Nyttland is at your fingertips! Build cities upon cities however you see fit, with a freeform building system in a multitude of different biomes, and create a flourishing kingdom for your Raevins, the lifeblood of your empire.
While you could just do what you want, if you want to be a successful ruler, you will need to take actions in measure, specifically by listening to what your citizens want. You can build up a city based on trade, or go for military might and expansion. Your influence on the city will shape the people within and they in turn will shape you.
But it won’t just be the world within the walls that you need to worry about, as the world outside of it will also need your attention. This will require you to build relationships with neighbouring countries, discovering new resources and maybe a few ruins. Of course, if those relationships sour, then you can always take to conflict, if you have the resources to back up your needs.
The game is coming to PC via Steam in 2026.
