PlayStation is hosting another showcase next week

PlayStation have announced that on Friday September 10 at 6am Melbourne time, a new PlayStation Showcase will be held, giving players a look at what is to come for PlayStation.

According to PlayStation, the showcase will run for around 40 minutes and contain updates from PlayStation Studios, along with a bevy of 3rd party studios and some independents. The games that will be shown will be ones that are releasing this year and beyond, so there is no telling what might pop up.

In addition, once the main 40 minute show has ended, a deeper update will be provided by some of the studios featured in the showcase, who though, well that is unknown.

Finally, those hoping to get an update on the next-gen PlayStation VR will be left waiting, as that will not make any appearance this time.

Speaking of times, here are the local times for the showcase, depending on what part of the country you live in:

  • AEST: September 10 - 6am

  • ACST: September 10 - 5:30am

  • AWST: September 10 - 4am

  • NZST: September 10 - 8am
