PGA Tour 2K25 hits the fairway once more via Nintendo Switch 2

2K have announced that PGA Tour 2K25 will slice its way onto Nintendo Switch 2 and will offer the full range of modes, online play and access to all the previous Clubhouse Passes that have released. Check out the trailer for the game below.

This is not a watered down version like the Switch got a few years ago, this is a complete release, with the games MyCAREER mode, cross-platform online Societies, Course Designer, and more, while also offering the ability to play offline modes on-the-go, and online modes when connected.

The game will launch with access to 4 seasons of Clubhouse Pass, which is what they call their season passes. Each Clubhouse Pass includes 100 tiers of new rewards with 34 tiers containing free rewards available for all PGA TOUR 2K25 players to earn, including club fittings, Evo Tools, Level-Up tokens, equipment, apparel and more. Players have the opportunity to earn rewards at every tier by purchasing the Clubhouse Pass Premium for each season or by purchasing the Member’s Pass, included in the PGA TOUR 2K25 Legend Edition, which unlocks Clubhouse Pass Premium for Seasons 1-5 and also includes the Clubhouse Gear Pack, which contains 1 outfit per body type, per Season, delivered at the start of each Season.

In also what has to be the weirdest partnership, the game is being ported to Switch 2 by Unity, with support from the original developers at HB Studios.

Golf is our passion, and so is reaching as many players as possible with the joy of the sport. Unity has been instrumental in growing our franchise from The Golf Club to the PGA TOUR 2K series. This partnership allows us to bring our most immersive and authentic golf experience to Nintendo Switch 2, complete with excellent visual fidelity and user-generated content features that players love.
— James Seaboyer, Studio Head at HB Studios

The game is set to release on February 6, 2026, so there is a bit of a wait to go. We reviewed the game when it launched on the other platforms earlier in the year and liked it, though were concerned about the sheet number of attempts to get us to buy VC to ‘progress’ faster.

Finally, for those who want to know, the game is a Game Key Card release, as shown in the box art.
