Percy Jackson is coming to Disney+ with a new series
It has been revealed that Percy Jackson, the book series based around the Greek myths, will be making a return, via a new series on Disney+, the creator Rick Riordan announced via Twitter.
The series, which spawned one good movie and one not so good, also had a few videogames over the years as well, mostly tied to the movies, the new series though, well what happens with that is up in the air.
While it is early days, this is some good news, as reading the original books, reignited my interest in the old myths. At this stage there is no casting announced, though it is unlikely that any of the movie actors will return for the series, given that most of the cast are meant to be teenagers and both Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase themselves, Logan Lerman and Alexandria Daddario are around 30 each.
