PAX Australia 2025: The Line-Up

With PAX Australia 2025 quickly approaching, we are starting to get an idea of what games, tech and more are going to be at the show. This year, we are doing a giant list that we will update when new additions are revealed, so you won’t have to keep searching.

The list will be divided up into four distinct groups:

  • Gaming

  • Tech

  • Tabletop

  • Shopping

Now that last one might double up over the other areas, but there are going to be standalone booths selling a host of things. The lists will grow as the show gets closer, so be sure to check back often.

Gaming

  • The Sims are coming back to PAX Aus, after being present last year. While their 2024 showing was via a photobooth, there is no word on what the 2025 offering will be.

    With The Sims being a part of the Game Worlds exhibit at ACMI, this could be a big year for the series.

Tech

  • The booth this year will feature:

    • New Product Launches

    • Live Custom Builds

    • Claw-Machine (a fan favourite)

    • Giveaway and Merch

    There will also be a live carving by Broxh. More details will be revealed as the show gets closer.

Tabletop

  • Games Workshop is bringing the iconic Warhammer Fantasy and 40K universes to the showfloor, the first time since the 2018 show. Whether you're new to the grim darkness of the 41st Millennium or a battle-hardened veteran of the old world, experience hands-on Warhammer action with miniature painting workshops, learn-to-play sessions and exclusive retail offerings.

  • Presenting Partner of this year’s Tabletop Hall, eBay, will be rewarding guests with limited edition prizes as they complete challenges around the Tabletop Hall. They will also be levelling up Friday night in the PAX Arena with an epic Magic: The Gathering Live Play event featuring special guests, food, drinks and plenty of surprises. It’s the ultimate celebration of cards and community.

  • MetaZoo TCG arrives at PAX with a cryptid-powered bang. Discover a world of mythical creatures from Bigfoot to the legendary Aussie Drop Bear in this unique trading card experience. Whether you're a seasoned Caster or just curious, the MetaZoo team is ready to show you the ropes.

  • Magic: The Gathering fans are in for a web-slinging treat with the new Marvel’s Spider-Man set. Head to the Magic Play Area for a free welcome deck and beginner demonstrations, along with Magic: The Gathering tourneys and special events.

  • Bandai Card Games are bringing some massive anime titles to PAX Aus 2025 including One Piece, Dragon Ball Super Card Game Fusion World, Digimon Card Game and the brand new, highly-anticipated Gundam Card Game.

  • Disney Lorcana is back by popular demand! Learn to play this magical trading card game, enter on-demand challenges and check out the expanded Ravensburger area with puzzles, board games and exclusive promos. Hosted by TAK Games, the area features special evening events and a Ravensburger pop-up store.

Shopping

  • Australian clothiers Blackmilk are once again bringing their wears to PAX Australia.

    This year they promise to have a great line up of clothes for fans to buy. The line up is not yet known, but the groups have launched products in the following brands recently:

    • Pokemon

    • Dungeons & Dragons

    • Wednesday

    • Lord of the Rings

    Not to mention their own range. They have said that will have all new pieces, never before seen at the show, what they are though is a secret…. for now.
