Patapon 1+2 Replay marches out an overview trailer, to get players ready
With the July 11 release of Patapon 1+2 Replay coming up quick, Bandai Namco have released a new gameplay overview trailer, giving new players an idea of what the series is all about, check it out.
In the game players will act as the Mighty One and guide the Patapons, a tribe of fierce warrior spirits, towards the “Earthend”. To survive this journey and help the mysterious creatures, the Mighty One will need to lead the march by playing rhythms with their drums.
In the game, there are four types of drums—PATA, PON, DON, and CHAKA. By combining these in different sequences, players can issue commands like “Attack,” “Advance,” “Protect,” and more. Chaining successful combos activates Fever Mode, which boosts the Patapons’ power and unlocks the “Juju Rhythm” to manipulate the weather for strategic advantages. Players must assemble their ideal team by selecting from various Patapon classes and upgrading them using collected items. With over 400 types of equipment available through stages and mini-games, players can strengthen their army and lead the tribe to victory.
The game is coming to PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and PC on July 11.
