One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 goes next gen later this month

Bandai Namco have announced that One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 is going next-gen on November 21st, when the game adds Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions. In addition, a 7th character pack will also be made available on the same day, check out the trailer for the news.

The breakdown on what exactly is coming in the next-gen versions has not been detailed, but Bandai Namco have said “they will feature enhanced graphics and allow players to battle larger swarms of enemies.“

I imagine a few other fixes will be in the mix, but until there are patch notes, we won’t know for sure.

Now, for the 7th DLC character pack, that we do know more about. This new pack includes:

  • Rob Lucci, from CP0

  • S-Snake, one of Dr. Vegapunk’s Seraphim

  • Jewelry Bonney, captain of Bonney Pirates and member of the Worst Generation

Each character in the pack also comes with an extra alternate outfit and if that was not enough characters for you, an 8th character pack is coming in early 2026.

The game is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, Switch and Xbox One, with the updated versions coming on November 21st.
