Mycopunk has locked and loaded, as this co-op shooter is revealed
Devolver Digital and developer Pigeons at Play have teamed up like a good squad should, to reveal Mycopunk, a game where teaming up with mates and shooting everything in sight, should prove to be real fun-gal. Check out the reveal trailer for the game below.
So, what is the game all about? Well, you and your fellow players are a made up from a bunch of robot rejects and have been hired by the universal megacorp SAXON for one last shot at profitable glory (and avoiding the scrap heap). You are the New Atlas Hazard Crew, a ramshackle squad of exterminators sent to uncover the mysteries behind a planet-wide fungal catastrophe.
Alone, these rickety robots aren’t up to much, but together they become more than the sum of their parts. Combine upgraded abilities and customised weapons to create synergistic builds and achieve strategic co-op mayhem. Or just shoot each other.
The game will launch into early access on PC later this year, but there is a demo out on Steam now, if you want to give it a go.
